Morning Yoga

Join me in an hour long ashtanga vinyassa class which will tone, strengthen and calm. Based on the traditional ashtanga Mysore style we will practice asanas varying from beginner to intermediate through a flowing sequence focusing on breath and movement. This class is good for all levels from beginners to advanced as I encourage practicing at your own pace and offer modifications when necessary.

Time: Wednesdays, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Lunchtime Yoga

Begins March 2012

Based on the traditional Ashtanga practice, this class incorporates breath and movement together in a flowing sequence of postures to strengthen, calm and focus.

Time: Fridays beginning March 2nd
Mondays beginning March 12th
12-1 p.m.
Cost: $12

Chi Yoga

Get the benefits of Tai Chi and Power Yoga in one class. Learn how to flow through life with stronger, more supple muscles. Connect your core to your base and your upper body so that your whole body becomes a single energized unit. Once your core gains power, you can balance with grace and release the pains/ blocks that inhibit the spine's free movement. Every class works all the major muscle groups and encourages the back to twist and bend gently in all its natural directions. Be prepared to work hard. All fitness levels welcome, from beginners to trained athletes. No yoga or Tai Chi experience necessary.

Time: Tuesdays, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $12 for a single class or $100 for a 10-class card (which can also be used in Hush's Pilates class on Wed. at 5:30 p.m.)

Hot Vinyasa Yoga

A 90-degree yoga class - not for the faint of heart!

This type of class is taught in a heated room and is based on the Baron Baptiste vinyasa system. In a vinyasa class, postures are linked together using the breath to create a flow that is meditative and invigorating. There is a strong emphasis on alignment and ujjayi breathing. These classes are challenging and transformative and are open to all levels of practitioners, from new to seasoned yogis and yoginis. Be prepared to sweat like you never have before! Please bring your own mat and a bottle of water. If you use a Vinnie's mat, please clean the mat after class is over. Beginners are welcome. No experience necessary.

Day: Sundays, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Cost: $10 for a single class or $80 for a 10-class card
